Overview

The Independent Living starter pack includes everything needed to get started with reliable home monitoring.
It contains the sensors and components required to detect activity, temperature, and use of appliances - helping ensure that the resident’s normal routines are safely monitored.

Recommended setup

To deliver a complete and accurate service, the starter pack includes the following:

  • 1 motion sensor for the living room

  • 1 motion sensor for the kitchen

  • 1 motion sensor for one bedroom

  • 1 motion sensor for one bathroom

  • 1 motion sensor for the hallway or entrance area

  • 1 refrigerator sensor to register that the appliance is in daily use

  • 1 door sensor (magnet contact) for the main entrance

  • 1 smart plug to monitor an electronic appliance such as a TV or coffee machine

  • 1 SOS button, typically placed in a high-risk area such as the bathroom or stairs

This configuration ensures that the most important rooms and appliances are monitored to detect daily routines and potential deviations quickly.

Expansion options

The starter pack is designed to meet the needs of most homes. If the resident has additional living spaces, doors, or electronic devices they wish to monitor, more sensors can be added at any time without affecting the monthly price.
