How to set up and use the “Exit after bedtime” service

Modified on Mon, 20 Oct at 1:15 PM

How this service works

The Exit after bedtime service detects if one or more doors are opened after the defined bedtime.
If a door opens during night hours, an alarm or notification is sent to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and relatives, ensuring that unusual night-time activity is quickly detected.

Activation

The service must be activated before it starts monitoring. When activated, it runs automatically in the background without any interaction from the resident.

Connection to wake-up and bedtime hours

This service is linked to the defined wake-up and bedtime hours in the system. It only monitors door activity between these times. You can adjust these hours to match the user’s daily routine.

Door selection

To work correctly, one or more doors must be linked to the service. Select which door sensors should be included, such as the main entrance or terrace door.
