Yes. The Independent Living service can be used in homes with more than one resident. The system monitors overall household activity, not individual movement, so it works reliably even when several people live together.
In many cases, the service is installed to ensure that one resident receives extra safety and attention. At the same time, other household members can feel secure knowing that the system will alert the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) if something unusual happens while they are away.
